National Day of Prayer

On Thursday, May 4, our church will host a prayer gathering at 12:00Noon.  This is the 66th annual national observance for Christians nationwide to rally around in intercession for our country's institutions to return to the biblical principles on which the United States of America was founded.  All are welcome to join us for an inspirational time of hymns and prayers led by lay people in our congregation.  There is no charge.    The event will take less than an hour.

Reformation 500

2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation started by Martin Luther in Germany.  Along with many Christians around the world, our church will be sponsoring some educational events to learn what the lasting legacy of the Lutheran Reformation is.  After Easter we will resume our study of "This Changed Everything," a DVD series with discussion that probes the ongoing influence of this movement.  For seven weeks, our adult forum will address a new topic on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM with a repeat presentation on Sunday mornings at 11:00AM.  Everyone is encouraged to participate in the interesting conversations led by Pastor Greg Lenz.
